Common ENT Procedures at Angel Nursing Home
Tonsillectomy & Adenoidectomy
Surgical removal of the tonsils and/or adenoids — recommended for recurrent infections, severe obstruction, or sleep apnoea. Commonly performed in both children and adults.
FESS — Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery
A minimally invasive endoscopic procedure to clear blocked sinuses, remove nasal polyps, and improve sinus drainage — performed without external incisions.
Septoplasty
Surgical straightening of a deviated nasal septum to improve nasal airflow and breathing — often combined with turbinate reduction for maximum relief.
Myringoplasty — Eardrum Repair
A surgical procedure to repair a perforated eardrum — restoring hearing and preventing recurrent ear infections caused by an open perforation.
Myringotomy & Grommet Insertion
A small ventilation tube inserted into the eardrum to drain fluid from the middle ear — commonly used in children with recurrent glue ear and hearing problems.
Nasal & Laryngeal Endoscopy
